it was a chinese silk missile that struck the Israel ship. they do a tremendous amount of a damage as they hold a large war head. it would have been supplied by iran through syria along with other weapons. u.s. experienced these missiles in 2003 in fight with Iraq.

two of the sailors on ship found dead. two still missing. ship towed half way back before they got the engines running and ship is under its own power returning to Israel
