The U.S. could, and should, take out the leadership of Iran and Syria with a few guided, powerful bombs. At the same time, much of the Iranian and Syrian airforce and other military installations could be rendered ineffective.

Otherwise, the civilized nations of this world will see an increasing existential threat of Islamic terrorism and expansionism.
