Zenith plans to introduce a "Warrior" TV series in '98 and a "Predator" series in '99. The Zenith/Inteq series is centered on the Home Theater concept with 26" and above TVs. Lot's of new shapes, colors and textures to be main differentiation features on all Zenith TVs. Marketing Department dictating which products remain and which are being eliminated. Fewer models to remain, especially in the non-box lines. More attention to be placed on audio features, timliness to market, cost control and QC. In summary, it's a start in the right direction, but, from what I've heard to date, nothing very bold, imaginative, and exciting. It appears more obvious than ever that Zenith lacks vision and direction from the top.
