Did you see his simplistic explanation about why this conflict started. It's the like the guy has no clue as to the history in the region going back hundreds and thousands of years. Perhaps the US can spread more freedom and democracy within these other militant groups. Even Putin got a jab in yesterday saying he would pass on his country having the democracy being spread in Iraq these days. Meanwhile transition to a war economy from a real estate economy in the US along with sky high oil prices now a fixture seems more crystal clear. I'm too young to remember 1973-74 but it sure seems like that is what our economy is facing. Given all the debt and overvaluation of RE this time going to be very ugly for many Americans.
