I agree with RMF. The Russians carried 70-80 percent of the fight against the Germans in WWII. They developed the most effective tank, the T-34, and fought the largest armored battle, the battle of Kursk, where over 6000 armored vehicles were involved. Americans have largely not been apprised by our histories of the fight of the Russians, due to the Cold War following immediatley after.
