I've started a small buy of new issue EXCO Resources this week and will likely add a bit more this upcoming week. Totally "faith-based" "investing" on my part. (Investing in quotes because it can't be Graham investing if it's solely faith-based -g-). Not possible for me to evaluate this company. I hope though, that at least one or more of the value investors who are in this thing (according to Yahoo) have done some appropriate dd before they bought. I am merely following them in. (Hoping we're not all foolishly following a head lemming over a cliff.) There's a Keeley fund. There's a Marty Whitman fund. Baron is in. I see Boone Pickens is a large shareholder insider. Oaktree Capital is in. Not familiar with them, I found their website. They say they don't accept high risk: oaktreecapital.com All jmo, and I ... and maybe some or all of these other guys... have been wrong many times. finance.yahoo.com
