another Dell beauty I stumbled upon today.

its name is "The Showstopper" (at $3500)

dell.com.

(snicker)

BTW this is their hyped up XPS gamer line. This is as good as it gets at dell for design. sheesh.

Looks like a fairly good design in my view, especially from Dell, but the price is high, even for a 20". A couple of interesting points is the monitor hinge/portable handle and the wireless keyboard which blurr the portable versus desktop differences. It looked more like a AIO desktop on first look. There do appear to have many moving parts that could cause problems and break, especially for a portable. Ease of setup and exta size will have to be compared to a typical notebook in the category. Not easy to see this as a daily commuter, but may beat a desktop if needs to be move a few times a month. What's the battery life (if it has a battery, which I was unable to find)? What is the weight, heavy? If Alienware was involved in the design, it doesn't really show in terms of strangeness.
