That may well be true. Personally, I couldn't care less whether Palestinians, for whatever reason, kill scores of Israeli civilians or military personnel or, on the other side Israel fires missiles, etc., at Arab targets, innocent or not.
It makes no difference to me, either way. Though tragic from any perspective, I have no dog in their fight and would rather stay far, far away from it. Rather, I do care that some portion of my money - stolen from me via taxation - inevitably finds its way into Israeli, Palestinian, or other nations' coffers for uses ranging from bleeding-heart welfare to bloodthirsty warfare.
Having said that, I find it curious that you are making an issue with respect to the concept of a civilian populace paying the price for its military counterparts, especially in light of this flippant comment made while the both of the WTC towers were burning:
