All---I'm back from golf- read all this crap and still do not know what was said at the meeting, not that it matters.

Maurice,

Well put. Thank you for the most succinct expression of my experience of going through hundreds of posts on this thread in search of a few meaningful nuggets. It seems incredible to me that there are vastly more posts about the time of the meeting than discussion of its content. I got a good laugh out of Grant's one-liner on laser sodomy, but the flurry of add-ons that followed didn't add much. Beyond the Montgomery analyst, as I went through the thread I found a number of candidates for rectal laser awards for grossly unneeded posts:

1. David A Kincade, who has become the poster child of this thread by feeling compelled to respond to every response to his many responses.

2. People who reply to David A. Kincade, realizing or not that he is programmed to respond to any post to him and thereby contributing to the proliferation of DAK posts.

3. Curlton Latts for his uncountable posts telling people to shift Cymer shares out of margin into a cash account. I would have thought that mentioning it once -- or even once a day might be sufficient.

4. The daily up-to-the-moment price tickers. I realize many of these people are refugees from the PairGain thread and feel compelled to post price quotes throughout the day. Unfortunately, there are so many of them to go through that you are better off with a 15-minute delayed quote or calling your broker than spending 30 minutes wading through these heliumeque posts.

I would like to express particular thanks to Defrocked, Robert Grutza and The Specialist for trying to work with some of the available news constructively --trying to extrapolate from the news to its impact on Cymer's business. Also, I'd like to acknowledge Denis and NYCNPBBKR for their focusing observations and reminders that we come back to the news and the relative few on this thread who shed much light on how it is likely to impact Cymer's future.
