The Chinese might actually be happy to see Kim start something with South Korea. (Or even with the Japanese, or us). Who knows what's in their twisted but very patient minds with their very long range plans? A war on that peninsula might give China the excuse it needs to move on in and subsume that whole area.

We can't even consider going to war with China at this point. They own too much of our economy, in more ways than one. That puts them in a very powerful position, and gives them pretty much zero incentive to do what we want them to do.
