"Desperate" may be a bit strong at this point in time. But I have seen that many Zionists are worried. A Zionist on another thread is very concerned that Israel would not be able to cope if Syria and Iran gang up on Israel. S/he also worries about the repercussions if Israel used its stockpile of nukes on the enemy. It is interesting to note that the US no longer acts the tough guy these days but tends to favour use of diplomacy in the solution of problems. .
