At the request of a numerous Yahoo refugees this weekend, I blew the dust off the earlier work that was done for recommending posts. I took the "less is more" approach for now. - Logged in users can recommend each post once. Subsequent recommendations of the same post by the same user will be effectively ignored. - If a post has been recommended the count will show in individual messages, and I added a column to the subject listing. - The recommended counter can be added to batch message reading, read replies, and search results at a later time. Maybe user profiles as well. I never saw Bob on-line over the weekend, so he's probably unaware of the Yahoo exodus. I'm hesitant to publish the modifications since they are well into the area that his toes typically occupy. Plus, I have a commitment tomorrow morning and will not be around until maybe an hour after the market open. Decisions, decisions....
