From what I understand it is not easily busted by car thieves because it isn't electronic at all (ie, not RFID). The product is sprayed onto cars--thousands of dots and even if only one dot remains it can be identified. As for price, I don't recall at the moment, but the fact that major car manuf are using it for the after market means it at least captures that market. It is currently being tested for robotic application in Australia, for use in actually automobile assembly.
