A lot of what's driving the trend in cell phones is just popular one-up manship.

"My phone is also a camera."

"Mine has a PMP in it."

"Both here."

But in the end, they're really just cell phones, and it is a highly fragmented market. The real threat to Apple's iPod is market saturation, and that is still around the corner, ... a bit.

A bit later if they can keep consumers fascinated with newer gadgets.
