We'll just have to agree to disagree. If you define fascism as the unholy alliance of government and corporations supported by the military, that Mussolini preferred to call "Corporatism", I'd say we CERTAINLY have that here in America. It's an American-style fascism, and only under Bush has it begun to resemble the Nazi style.

Hardly an original thought. I think it grew out of the Cold War. Eisenhower warned us, but now the military - corporate - government system is SO entrenched, it's an invisible, organic part of our style of fascism.
