Ethanol will lesson CO 2 emissions from Fossil Fuels.. How so? It still gets it's energy from the hydrocarbon bonds. Molecules of various lengths of carbon and hydrogen are turned into CO2 and H2O by the addition of oxygen. To stop the global warming we need to get the energy from a different source than chemical energy. TP
