Good to see you around! Could use a dose of IAC-isms on this market we are in. I'll absorb all education offered! Been trying to hang in there, got a dose of the coulda, woulda shouldas today from the short side! <g>

I got out of TRE with a small haircut today, by luck. Sold into the run up bounce off of the bottom, when it was clear it was running out of gas. Don't see how anyone that held through the w/e made out. It is unbelievable how fast things fell off a cliff and the human temptation is to get that disgusted feeling and sell, or chase the price down.

I have no idea how others do it. I quit trying to day trade active BB stocks sometime ago. Had too many 'interesting' fills, and calls to the broker educated me on the 'wild west' nature of that system; no need to post a good b/a and no need to honor any order! So those that claim to get great fills one way or the other are either very lucky or full of prunes. I suspect that if posters are guys then there is a tendency to inflate one's fills to look even better.

That said I noted an interesting phenomenon the other day. Imagine if one can get a big enough following. One sees a sideways trading stock on a low volume lazy afternoon, one buys such stock. Then one announces said purchase. All of a sudden volume appears in said stock and the price bumps up a penny or two. Of course it takes 5 - 10 minutes for the action to pick up, but increased volume and a move toward the top of an intraday T/R brings the momo boys. Pretty interesting to see it play out.

What percent cash? Where are the opportunities: O/G or PMs; Big Cap, Med. or the Juniors?
