I do not think that is factual. My understanding is that a guerilla force crossed over into Isreal. At least that is how the incident was reported.

While I take no side on this particular incident and how it was reported I am ashamed by the lack of REALITY our big media reports. The way saddam was made to look to be CAPTURED by american forces - pure theater. The middle eastern woman hugging an american woman during bush's state of the union - pure theater (she wasn't asked back the next year - she said bush was a failure in Iraq) The lies told day after day by commentators on CNBC.

I have lost a lot of respect for the big media all over the globe - folks like mish are not nearly as beholden to large corporate interests as the big media - like that movie "the insider" - and look what hits slashdot today:

There's an ongoing discussion of the censorship on GoogleGroups. The rediff.com coverage linked above indicates that the blocking is based on a list issued by India's Department of Telecommunications.
