If we had the will power, we could double the average mpg of the cars in America in the next 10 years. That alone would cut our oil consumption dramatically. I just read today that Ford is developing a Ford Focus that can do 70mpg. Guess where they are doing the research? In the UK. I hope they pull it off. Anyway, imagine a plug-in hybrid flex fuel engine. Now that's what I'm talking about.
