Fitzgerald has already notified Rove and Novak that they are not targets. There are no sealed indictments. If you lived in Chicago you would know that Fitzgerald does not play games. He is very direct. Also very non-partisan. He was the perfect guy to investigate the so-called Plame leak. Ashcroft should be commended for the appointment. It was a bold, risky move. Had Plame been outed as part of a criminal conspiracy, Fitzgerald would have nailed it.

Fitzgerald has been very busy with his day job. His office just got three very important convictions only two levels below Daley. There will be more indictments further up the food chain.

Fitzgerald also has a series of ongoing investigations of the Rod "Dream Small Dreams" Blagojevich administration. Poor Blago got named as an "Official A" in a court filing. Whoops, I forgot that you have no interest in corruption at the local and state levels.
