The big threat: internal overthrow of Iran by Al Qaeda after a nuclear weapon is developed. I'm not sure al Qaeda has that much traction in a shiite country but having said that, it doesn't matter a great deal because the mullahs who still control Iran have very similar attitudes to al Qaeda anyway. They are both islamofascist. I think you're right about events of last couple of weeks. What we have is a preemptive strike by Iran at Israel thru it's Hezbollah proxies. I'm sure the Isarelis will kill off the proxies. Then what?
