You should check your facts more carefully.
"Clicking on your name reveals that you have nearly 5,000 posts..."
What's your point?
...and have had TWO MODERATED threads."
You said "moderated threads to discuss your guru," and you normally use "your guru" to refer to Brinker. I told you that I have run one moderated thread to discuss Brinker, and that is true. If you open the two threads listed on my profile here, you will see that neither of them is a Brinker discussion thread, and that I don't discuss Brinker there. My Brinker thread is on Investor's Hub:
investorshub.com
I told you that I have never deleted a post or banned a poster there, and that is true. The one post that has been deleted there was done by management, apparently because it was an advertisement, and unrelated to Brinker.
BTW, in case anyone is wondering, the one moderated thread I have here is an experimental thread that I started a long time ago to find out what the capabilities of a moderator are. The two banned posters are in that thread. Since they both posted links to vulgarities, I figured they were volunteering to have me test the banning feature on them. <G>
"Take it up with SI if they are lying about you."
SI didn't say that I moderate a Brinker thread here, so they aren't lying about anything. They list the AMAT thread on my profile as moderated, but if you open that thread, it says "Moderated By Math_Junkie -- (Not Moderated)," which is obviously an error on their part, not a lie. The second part of their statement is correct; it is an unmoderated thread.

"It also says you are being ignored by 6 people. Looks like you are shooting for 7. "
Please put me on ignore.
"What did you think about Brinker dishonest handling the caller's question about what to do about QQQQs he'd held for 5 years?"
According to what people have written about his answer, he referred to taking some QQQQ out of the model portfolios earlier in the year. My guess is that he expected people who were still holding some from 2000 - 2001 to understand that they should take a similar percentage off the table at that time. It would have been better if he had explicitly stated that when he made the recommendation, and the honest thing to do in answering the caller's question would have been to state that he meant that to apply not only to the model portfolios, but also the shares he recommended buying in 2000-2001. |
