It has been awhile since I posted. However, there was a time when I was posting arguments all day defending US foreign policy against the Kerry supporters. I think the tide turned somewhat with the public view when Israel turned over settlements in Gaza. What did Israel get for that? Hamas was elected, and it was clear that even there was no desire among the majority of the Arab public for any compromise. Also, the Iranian president's comments against Israel, certainly increased world concern over Iran's intentions. I guess I feel some relief that this recent response from Israel has worked well and may change the equation. However, anything could happen from here.
