What's your view, Nadine? Land operations or not? Operations against Syria or not? If you would have asked me last weekend, I would have said "absolutely" as to land operations and "maybe" as to Syria.

Today, I am not so sure.

I am on the fence on both issues, leaning slightly towards "no" as to Syria, though it desperately needs to get done.

I suspect that there is a lot of pressure being exerted on Israel, though the US is on the surface still green-lighting what is happening, but that is merely aerial.

It will take troops to clean out Southern Lebanon and go after the rocket caches. And Iran, which is after all what this is 99% about, needs to have both of its cat's paws damaged substantially so that they know there is a very big price to pay in assuming the role of puppets.
