Why weaken them now?

The attacks on roads, runways, and ports is designed to prevent Hizbollah's resupply in the event of ground operations. That kind of attack inevitably is seen as an attack on a nation, but may be more of a military consideration than a political one. That's what I thought last weekend, but I am no longer sure.
