Obviously he discounted the iran pres and elevated the more moderate mullahs as being the force to be reckoned with in iran. Sun is native iranian. He is not calling the mullahs reformers but realists who see a need to normalze relations with the west and israel. The nutcase president is a whole different animal but as we saw with the last reformer president can be ignored on major issues.
