Bush has the US military bogged down in Iraq for any wannabe terrorist to come over and take shots at. Thousands of new terrorists have signed on as a result. Whatever Bush-Cheney were thinking rushing into Iraq without a plan, they were just plain wrong.

Now we have the rightwing calling this all "World War III" and urging Bush to attack Iran, Syria and whomever else. These people who lust for war never served in combat themselves though, and would never dare to send their sons. They are all chickenhawks of the rightwing. And many of them profit from war.

With the GOP in dep trouble going into the midterm election, they are tempted to start a war for no other reason than to create a rally around the president reaction, so the danger is that a second irresponsible war will be started by Bushies desperate to save their own asses after they blew the last war. Which was used to steal the 2002 midterms. Remember?
