Your post is full of lies and revisionist history.

We agree Clinton did a great job trying to bring peace to Israel. We agree that many Arab types would like Israel wiped out, but just as many want peace.

It is untrue Clinton was ever offered Osama Bin Laden. That is a rightwing myth which is 100% false. Also untrue is that Clinton bombed an aspirin factory. Wrong. That was a chemical plant Osama owned and it was probably making WMD, or was going to. Clinton was much more on top of terrorism than Bush was in 2001. Bush disbanded all Clinton's counter-terror operations without explanation and did not replace them.

In fact it was Bush who had Osama cornered at Tora Bora and let him go. There is no explanation for why this happened, but weeks afterward Bush claimed he no longer cared about Osama, and focused 100% on Saddam, someone who had nothing to do with Al Qaida and 9-11. There is also no explanation for why Bush allowed all the Saudis out of the country after 9-11 without interrogation even though some of them knew about 9-11 before it happened.

Carter's troubles in the Middle East were a result of the war in Israel and the Arabs deciding to not give Israel any oil. That set off a chain reaction. AT the same time, the Shah was going nuts and pissing off his people so badly he practicaly invited a coup. Our hostages were taken. Carter tried a daring rescue but sandstorm (or sabotage?) doomed it. If he had succeeded in rescuing the hostages it would have totally changed the image of his presidency. but Carter was a great peacemaker and also built an alt fuels program which would have had us 100% off Arab oil by now if Reagan hadn't disbanded it. Carter was also the victim of the post Vietnam period when our military was bhattered and needed 10 years to recover. The post Vietnam debt load also plagued his term. Like this current war, the Vietnam War was fought on the credit card. The debt caused interest rates to sky-rocket.
There wasn't much Carter could have done about it. So give Carter a break.

The Mujeheddin were financed by the Reagan administration, not Carter. The training and arming of Mujeheddin started in or around 1983.

Libya was not disarmed by Bush. That was a big fat lie. It was just an oil deal PR stunt with Libya handing over a bunch of old junk they never planned to use anyway. Libya had been desperate to make a deal like this for more than 10 years. They hadn't been a terrorist threat since the mid 80's.

Bush did not stop any Pakistani nukes program. That is a lie.
Khan was stopped in March 2001, too soon after Bush was sworn in to have been a result of anything Bush did. The pressure had been on Pakistan for many years to stop nuclear proliferation. Bush has largely been AWOL on nuclear proliferation which is probably much more dangerous to us than any terrorist group.
