No, we cannot accept stolen elections in this country and should never "get over it" or allow those frimes to be gotten away with. If we do, we might as well throw away democracy and admit we are a corrupt autocracy, no better than Mexico.

As soon as democrats take back congress (because the rightwing refuses to investigate their own crimes), we must begin a long-overdue thorough investigation into the stolen election of 2004 (I guess 2000 is a lost cause by now) and we must begun protecting our ballots from local party zealots with some really smart, tough election reform.

For instance, if you go to an ATM and take out $$, it photographs you and there is a record. So why can't the voting machines do the same? Some of them are made by the exact some manufacturers. We need solid proof of every vote and every intent of every voter, then a 100% fair count with no possibility of hacking or dirty tricks.
