"In Brinker's April Newsletter he said NOTHING about the QQQQs not in the portfolios purchased in 2000 that many have claimed were totally a separate type of investment and Brinker would tell you when to sell those."

I agree. That's why I think he should have said so at the time if he intended the April recommendation to apply to the shares purchased in 2000 - 2001.

"You know that Brinker is NEVER going to 'provide follow up guidance in regular monthly editions or follow up bulletins'."

I agree if you mean that he will not provide that guidance in the future, but for the sake of accuracy, it should be mentioned that he did provide follow up guidance (which happened to be wrong) for about six months or so in the newsletter.

"Brinker is dishonestly hiding the whole trade and pretending he invested the same money twice--the QQQ debacle 'never happened' is the stunt he is pulling."

I agree, as long as we are clear that "never happened" is our opinion of what he is trying to accomplish, and not an actual quote of what he has said.

"There is NOT ONE SINGLE WORD about doing anything different with QQQs except those in the model portfolios in the April Marketiming scam rag."

I agree. That's why I think he should have said so at the time if he intended the April recommendation to apply to the shares purchased in 2000 - 2001.

"I should not be surprised that you would alibi for Brinker yet again claiming you 'guess' he really meant to take the same percentage out of those 5 yr old QQQs in that April newsletter."

I don't "claim" that I guess - it really is a guess. Are you saying that I somehow know what was in Brinker's mind?

I don't know why you're equating speculating on his thought processes with alibiing for him, since I clearly implied in my conclusion that I thought his answer was not honest.

"Anyone with a brain, knows what Brinker is up to. He's HIDING FOREVER the reccomendation to use up to 1/3 of a portfolio to buy 80 $$ QQQs in 2000. He never intends to give specific advice or take responsibilty for specifically admitting to closing out that huge losing position."

I agree.

"To hem and haw otherwise is route of a shill for a charlatan."

Do you think this is what a shill would say: "the honest thing to do in answering the caller's question would have been to state that he meant that to apply not only to the model portfolios, but also the shares he recommended buying in 2000-2001"?

Of course, as I stated previously, the above answer is based on my guess as to how Brinker is thinking about this.

I'm not really clear on why you think that we disagree. Are you upset about my speculating on what was in Brinker's mind? If so why?. Heck, you do that all the time, and you frequently don't even label it as a guess.
