Couple things wrong with your opinion there, boy.
"Avoid truth" is not my goal. However, due to the track record willfully established by AS through the course of his posts containing his own words, the words of the Dem talking points, his choice of news sources and his choice of "trusted" reporters, it is clear to me that whatever he recommends will contain a left slant, will clearly bash Bush, will blame the sky's color on Bush and the water's wetness on Bush. It will blame Bush for problems we are experiencing today that have causes decades ago, it will credit Kerry with being just shy of God incarnate.
I do not care to read such tripe, and because of who recommended it, namely AS, I can rest assured it is tripe and unworthy of my time. Now, had you recommended I would have merely scoffed and said "no thanks." But AS is insane and cannot see, or more than likely refuses to see, how odious his posts really are and how much I disagree with 99% of anything he says or anything he posts. So why bother reading a book he's been hyping on this site for a month or so now?
Second, I was not attempting to "dialogue" with anyone. He rants and raves and offers a book rec? I was letting him know that he can keep his recommendations to himself.
I have a brain, that is why I am certain nothing he recommends is worth my time. He likes Michael Moore, you need no more proof than that. |
