It may be news to you, but those poor people liberals are supposed to care about, have a much harder time buying a home in a suburb with good schools.

Parents choose where their children go to school by where they live.

Why shouldn't parents have the option of directing the money the public school system is spending to miseducate their children and direct it to a better school - a Catholic school, as an example.

All these things are extremely important: It's parental involvement, interest in education, expectations for children, discipline, school management, etc. No doubt. But a lot of the schools where poor kids go are out of control.

..Bush, the prime example of wealth and privilege I think Mr. Kerry and Gore were pretty good examples, too.
