Off Topic -

Sonny - just an fyi about something .....

Remember Sepracor?
Well that was / is a real company.

What follows is an entirely different kinda thingie
within the biotech umbrella.

Some rules:

Cancer Kills

Cancer Drugs do NOT stop death from cancer.

There are minor exceptions here and there but at
the end of the day 1.5 million or whatever the number is
now - will die from cancer.

All that current cancer drugs do now is keep you
alive awhile longer - maybe upto 4 or 5 years - but
more than likely in less than 2 years you are dead.

It depends on the cancer.

Finally, there is nothing on the horizon that will
change this. Nothing.

The purpose of this post is to state that one of
the worst kinda cancers is brain cancer. Its got
several flavors and there all bad.

About 9 months ago I caught a news release from
a NOT FOR REAL company that had developed a
cancer vaccine for brain cancer.

Lets be clear about the word vaccine.

We think of vaccine i.e. polio as something we
take to PREVENT something.

However, in the context I am talking I am talking
about creating a vaccine from the blood and guts
of someone who ALREADY has something.

Anyway this company had screwed around with their
thingie and it showed some positive signs. I am NOT
talking about a CURE .... just some amorphous positive
signs.

The net of the story is that about 6 months ago
UCLA said to the company - hey let me try some of
that stuff out.

In about another 3 months or 6 months UCLA will
-- probably -- come out with a statement as to
how the *vaccine* did.

Again, we are NOT looking for saving a life, but we
are looking for things like how much longer did the
patient live or length of time to disease progression
and other techie concepts I don't recall.

The stock symbol of this company is NWBT.OB.
I don't know their name.

The stock price usually swung between 30 cents and
60 cents and about 6 weeks ago I put a STINK BID
in for 10,000 shares at 21 cents.

I connected today.

Tomorrow I will put in another bid (STINK BID) in for
10,000 shares at 17 cents. And if I get it I will stop
at 20,000 shares.

Now here is what it all means:

There is a 99.99999% chance that UCLA will come back
and say that there was NO EFFECT or a WORSENING EFFECT.

By some miracle though - should their vaccine have helped
someone then this thing could explode to as high as
say 1.50.

And please note if UCLA came back and said something positive
it would STILL take another 8 years to run thru all the
Phase 2 and Phase 3 trials (at huge expense) that would
be required to get an FDA approval.

Just wanted you to know all this ..... and to emphasize
this is NOT A REAL COMPANY .... but you never know.

Tell pumpkin head I said hello.

regards,
John
