It was not a good game for the Tigers tonight...They didn't have the pitching or run production they needed...They were overpowered by The White Sox...I think after tonight's game it shows that the Tigers must make a big trade to get a big time player (Abreu, Soriano, Smoltz, etc). I believe a big bat may be more vital. It's not that I think the Tigers are not a good enough team to make the playoffs...I think they are...but I don't feel "the current team" will beat any of the big 3 (Chicago, Boston, or New York) in the playoffs. More importantly, I don't get the feeling the Tigers believe they can beat any of these teams. I think a trade may be more important mentally to the Tigers than anything, just to push them over the hump against these powerful AL baseball teams...;-)
