Having worked in the preparation of financials, I can say it is doubtful that the earnings will come out any earlier than scheduled. Each company has a closing the books routine that includes testing the receivables, payables, etc. whereby a percentage of the entities on the other side of the transaction have to verify the #...i.e. HSOA is carrying a receivable of $100.00 due from Uncle Sam. Accountants will request Uncle Sam to verify same. This takes time. Also, the accountants were most likely scheduled to come in to review the books while they were there last quarter. The scenario for closing and reporting would change gradually as the internal/external accounting teams improve on execution. JMHO
