| I don't see Murder as a Moral question, nor rape nor assault, nor robbery, they are simply crimes to me. OTOH I don't care if a woman has a couple of husbands, as long as I don't have to support them. I also don't care if a woman has a child, as long as I don't have to support them. So a lot of the Moral crap of Churches I don't want enshrined in law.... And I want an end to the Churches leech like tendency to screw Canadians over taxes ended too. And if a Priest, Minister, Teacher, Policeman, or Politician is found guilty of rape, I want them publicly flogged, privately castrated, and imprisoned forever. Their status in the community means that they should be held to a higher standard than the rest of us. Would they be Moral questions? I say that people should have safety of person, and property legally, and it is not a matter for churches, or religion, but rather that every person should have rights, and those rights should be simple straight forward, and have nothing to do with religion. Some of the least moral people I have met were hugely religious. Some of the most moral people I have met were not particularly religious. |
