There are no major Dems who are corrupt now. Jefferson is corrupt, but he's not a major player and is clearly off on his own little scam, nothing associated with any others in the party. Reid and Pelosi have been falsely accused of corruption. Accepting a free boxing ticket is not corrupt, especially when it's from a constituent.

That isn't to say that every democrat besides Jefferson is honest, just that we as a party have much-much higher ethical standards than the rightwing Bush-Delay group, who see political power as a license to steal, gouge, loot and ignore laws. The righwing also refuses to police itself, while in the Dem camp, someone like Jefferson was dealt with immediately.

Among those on the right embroiled in ethics scandals are Cheney, Rove, Libby, Frist, Delay, Cunningham, Abramoff, Hastert, Lewis, Pombo, Doolittle, Lowry, Burns, Santorum, Norquist, Reed, Gillespie, Ney, Barton, Blackwell, Taft, Jeb Bush, Harris, Stevens, on and on and on. Practically the entire rightwing regime.

Notice however that the GOP moderates like the Dems are clean.
