If market is gonna tank either this fall or in 2007 why even bother with this nonsense betting on either side if semis or QQQQ's retesting the Oct 2002 lows? Just go on vacation in the meantime<g>

Some people emailed phil this very concern last week with his constant harping on all this wild volatility and uncertainty and he discussed it.

He has said the past 3 radio shows that he has seen many professional traders stay on the sidelines in cash because things looked too risky to them and they couldn't discern a certain direction - and they missed the 4 or 5 really good days you get trading stocks. That without those 4 or 5 good trades - you don't make up for the many small losses you made during the year with your stops getting executed - so his advice was to stay in the swing of things so you don't miss them. Some here think 5% money markets are OK - I have some money in that investment myself - SOME - for diversification - but with my personal inflation here in fl after insurance, gas, utility and food (and I try to live very cheaply Vosilla) I am around 15% inflation - 5% is not gonna cut it. Denny's doesn't have the 2.99 grand slam breakfast here anymore.
