What is terrorism -- intimidating people by indiscriminate acts of violence that kill innocent people.
Israel to Lebanon -- we are destroying your roads, ports, airports, and will leave you in the stone ages. We will destroy homes, schools, hospitals, because we think that rockets might be hidden in them, and if we kill lots of civilians it is of no consequence to us. We will just blame it on Hezbollah. Stop Hezbollah, even though we were not able to stop it in 20 years of military occupation, in fact our invasion were responsible for its creation.
Isn't that about it? Is that not terrorism -- intimidation, indiscriminate killing of civilians, and indifference to the inhumanity of it?
Who is on the side of terrorists? Have I ever, once, in how many number of posts, said that I supported terrorists, that I did not sympathize with victims of terrorism, that violence in attaining ends is wrong? Opposing terrorism means stopping it in rational ways, like not allowing them to justify their actions by being responsible for your own injustices. Opposing terrorism means not spreading seeds of terrorism. |
