What would you rather pick on, a small and weak country or a large a strong country backed by China? Lebanon vs. Syria. Lebanon is small, trying to rebuild from decades of civil war. Lebanon unfortunately does not have oil or nukes. If Israel promises to get rid of Hezbollah, I do not think the Lebanese would mind pain for the last time, however, the Lebanese people know that no one can get rid of them unless Iran cut off the funding and that will not happen, cause Iran like North Korea have nukes too.
The Israeli mission is fruitless and only inflicts pain on the innocent for no reason.
