Bush ignored the 8-6-01 warning about imminent Al Qaida strikes within the US using hijacking. Gore would not have ignored that. This is evident when you consider Clinton-Gore had a 24-7 Anti-Al Qaida desk in the White House monitoring any threats at all times. Bush came in and disbanded that desk, didn't replace it, and had all investigations into Saudi nations inside the US terminated. Bush is to BLAME for letting 9-11 happen, and should never be credited with protecting us. He didn't. When it counted he was AWOL on terrorism. Completely asleep at the switch, maybe even on purpose due to his close ties to the Saudis.
