,i>1. Calls for strict respect for the territorial integrity, sovereignty and political independence of Lebanon within its internationally recognized boundaries;

The PLO never left Lebanon after UNSC 425. They didn't leave until the Israelis forced them out in 1982.

The Syrians didn't respect Lebanon's territorial integrity, nor its sovereignty, or political independence until last year..

Actually, given that they are STILL supporting Hizbullah, they CONTINUE to violate Lebanon's sovereignty.

22 years later Israel decides to cut its losses. Do you claim that Israel didn't create "An even more dangerous enemy (considering the quantity of rockets and their range)."?

Who are you trying to kid here Noel?? It's NOT ISRAEL that is INCESSANTLY calling for the utter destruction of neighboring countries.

Hizbullah, Hamas, and Iran CONTINUE to call for Israel's destruction (Syria's been a bit more quiet about it recently, but they certainly wouldn't shed any tears over the demise of Israel).

You can blame the Israelis all you want, but THEY HAVE BEEN THE ONES PROPOSING PEACE. They are the ones who made peace with Egypt, and returned the occupied Sinai to their control.

They made peace with Jordan, which WISELY (from their perspective) abandoned the Arabs living on the West Bank to negotiate their own fate with the Israelis.

They've offered to make peace with the Syrians, so long as the Golan Heights remained demilitarized.

Tell me how many other Arab governments have unilaterally approached Israel to negotiate peace?

When are you people going to get it through your heads that Israel provides a VERY CONVENIENT scapegoat for these corrupte and tenous Arab governments to use so that they can deflect public opinion away from their internal problems.

If Arabs offered peace to the Israels, then their people would turn inward and look to overthrow their own repressive regimes.
