Go ahead, continue to fool yourself.

As far as the MBP. I also have one. I love it. But I find myself using Windows way too much (because I can) and when a web page doesn't work in Safari, I tend to switch to XP and run Explorer. And Quicken works with my bank under WIndows. It doesn't on the OS X version. Yes, I hate that I have to do this. But it works better somehow. Blech!

No the transition isn't nightmarish, but several of my critical apps aren't yet UB and those need to be because they don't work in Rosetta. So guess what, I run those in Windows as well. Apple is forcing me to become completely dependent on Windows. This is working against them. Yeah they are due to come out this quarter. But they were all scheduled to come last quarter and didn't.

And I have beta tested Windows Vista. Yes, it's got some teething issues. I dread the thought of using it all the time. But unless Apple has some serious tricks up its sleeve and as long as MS doesn't screw it up more than they already have, OS X will not any compelling arguments to make. I really don't see where anyone is going to be motivated to move to OSX such that the market share numbers change to any significant degree.
