Why was the US not helping Lebanon? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that Hezbollah is too powerful for Lebanon. The UN already has troops in Lebanon. You knew that didn't you? I guess the US getting its nose bloodied in '86 was enough. Syria got mad because Israel pulled out of Lebanon? meib.org The killing stops when Hezbollah releases kidnapped soldiers and follows UN resolution 1559. Syria and Iran needs to stop supporting Hezbollah and Hamas.
