We can find our self in a situation where there is no 'they' if we get out of their faces.... Yes and no,,,buy from Canada and Mexico...use advance purchases to control the price and which can be invested in developing fields..Canada has a lot of oil in the Tar sands (actually as much or more then Saudi Arabia) which is being produced at 17 dollars a barrel these days..Mexico needs money to develop their fields..buy from the Russians we need them as allies with all their nuclear tipped missiles pointed our way..and any other reasonable country..as we pull out of the mideast everyone else will become more reasonable as well..its the Military backing of the Big American and European oil companies thats creating the problem...get out of thier face!!!!!
