Let us say your argument is correct and there is an equal percentage of mac and windows users that are ready to switch(which I don't agree with-the surveys that I have looked at over the past several months really point to a fair number of windows people looking to switch-I haven't seen anything like that on the mac side). Let us say it is 10% just for ease of calculations. If windows has 90% of the market and the mac has 5%-even though the percentage of switchers are the same-I would rather be on the mac side of the business than on the windows side. The windows side would pick up a half a percent from the mac side. But the mac side would pick up 9% from the windows side.
