I'm not all that savvy on PC markets and marketing... that said, I would think that ANY company which gained 6% market share in any area of the PC market in ONE QUARTER (!!!) is gaining long-term market share. I am trying to imagine what DELL would do if they gained 6% market share in one quarter? or HP? or any other PC maker? I would find it passing strange if that 6% did not indicate a prolonged increasing of market share. JMHO jbn3d
