What happens if they hizbolla acquires longer range missiles and shoots from areas further from the border. It seems to me that israel for the long term must figure out away to stop the flow from iran to syria to hizbolla. One way is to strike a Golan deal with syria. Whatever else the syrians are, they have always followed every treaty to the letter. Another way to accomplish is for the overthrow of bashir alawite minority assad and the return of majority sunni led baathist rule without the assads. Alawites aligned with iran--now with saddam gone, a more natural alliance would be with jordan and the sunni portion of iraq. (Three states coming soon, i suspect as iraq loses 100 civilians per day to wanton ethnic cleansing slaughter. Mike
