How long was the Berlin wall? How many troops were assigned to guard it? A poor analogy. A much better anaolgy is the Great Wall of China - a dumb idea that didn't work either. en.wikipedia.org It was built by people with the exact same impulses for the exact reasons you have. If you want to stop illegal immigration, and force illegals already here to return to Mexico, the ONLY effective way is to SERIOUSLY go after the employers of illegals. Hit them with runious fines, put repeat offenders in jail, publicize the results, and no employer will HIRE an illegal. With no jobs, illegals will have no reason to come, or to stay.
