Yes, I represent something like that demographic segment as well. That's 50% of the buyers. And the other "50 percent of the Mac purchases made at Apple retail stores were made by first-time Mac buyers."


So when the existing mac buyers are done upgrading in a quarter or two, then a much larger percentage of computer sales will go to new mac buyers. And those numbers will decline in absolute terms because the product won't be so new anymore. The luster will be gone. The competition will be rife with similar looking and less expensive products. Vista will be out. The blip will be over.

Not saying appl stock will suffer. But computer sales growth will not sustain.
